Director of Finance

Join Monta, a fast-growing company in the electric vehicle charging industry, as the Director of Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the group financial control process, managing the accounting team, and driving automation and streamlining of financial processes. You will also act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and lead technical accounting input on product development. This is a unique opportunity to be a key member of the leadership team and make a significant impact on the company's growth and success.

• Own the group month-end close process, driving toward a faster and more predictable close, and hold sign-off authority on accounting treatment across entities.
• Oversee payroll, AR and AP management, bank reconciliation, and cash visibility across the group's banking partners and currencies.
• Manage and develop the wider group accounting team, drive the automation and streamlining of processes while ensuring strong financial controls.
• Bonus if you speak Danish as our HQ is in Copenhagen
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience and a track record of managing a team
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment (e-money, payments, or similar) is a strong plus
• Demonstrable experience building and managing bespoke finance solutions with AI and a bonus if you have led an ERP migration
• Transfer pricing and multi-entity or group consolidation experience
• Experience managing a diverse team across geographies
