Software Engineer - Business Funds Risk

Join Wise, a global technology company on a mission to make money management easier and more affordable for everyone. As a Software Engineer in the Business Funds Risk team, you will help build scalable controls to ensure compliance and protect customers. You will work with a technology stack that includes Java, Spring, Kafka messaging, and relational databases.

• Contribuer à la création d'un réseau entièrement nouveau pour l'argent dans le monde, en veillant à ce que les fonds sur la plateforme soient propres, conformes et faciles à déplacer.
• Développer des contrôles globaux et évolutifs qui détectent et arrêtent les fonds non clairs tout en maintenant une expérience rapide et sans friction pour les bons clients.
• Écrire du code et concevoir des systèmes pour rendre les paiements mondiaux plus rapides, moins chers et plus fiables pour les clients.

**What does it take:**

• A strong product mindset, you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make data-driven decisions
• Sense of ownership and great communication skills to drive projects across teams
• You have solid Java, experience with Spring framework and microservice best practices
• You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback
• You enjoy writing testable code
• You are proactive, wanting to learn from others and share your own learnings with others
• Experience working with relational databases and query optimisation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems
• Hands on knowledge of system integration patterns
• It’s a plus if you have experience in compliance and/or fincrime risk mitigation related domains
