About The Role

Join Wise, a global technology company on a mission to revolutionize the way money is moved and managed. As the Quality Assurance Senior Team Lead for the sanctions domain, you will set the QA strategy, deliver against plans and KPIs, and build a trusted team. You will use your expertise to ensure the accuracy and value of all QA outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

  • Lead and manage a high-performing Quality Assurance team, delivering initiatives to grow their skills and managing succession plans for senior leads.
  • Take accountability for the Sanction QA area’s delivery against KPIs and objectives, identifying process improvements and refining standard operating procedures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Sanctions policy, Quality Assurance, and risk management, validating complex case outcomes and leading audit interactions.

**About you:**

  • Experienced Leader: 4+ years of proven leadership experience in operations or compliance, with at least 2 years leading a medium-sized organisation (20-40 people).
  • Domain Experience: +3 years of Sanctions experience working in the **financial services sector**.
  • Compliance Expert: Advanced knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to Sanctions, with a deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks in financial services or payments.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to use analytics to manage your domain, move team metrics, and translate data into trends that influence continuous improvement.
  • Tech Forward: A promoter of AI literacy, identifying opportunities for automation and AI within the QA process to improve efficiency.
  • Great Communicator: Fluent in English with the ability to clearly communicate complex topics and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to challenge ways of working, critically assess data, and manage challenges before they escalate.

## Additional Information

Salary: 4 000 - 5 500 EUR Monthly gross + RSU (Restricted Stock Units)
