Integration Software Engineer

Join Riverlane, a pioneering company in quantum computing. As an Integration Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and deploying the world's first quantum error correction stack, Deltaflow. You will collaborate with various teams, work directly with customers, and have the opportunity to learn about quantum computing. Benefits include equity, generous leave, private medical insurance, and a contributory pension scheme.

• Design and build embedded software components for the quantum error correction stack, focusing on features that aid in seamless deployment.
• Integrate the quantum error correction stack into world-class quantum computing systems and develop test infrastructure to verify and benchmark performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and quantum physics teams to understand requirements and constraints for the system.

• Prior quantum computing knowledge is not necessary - you will learn this along the way!
• Experience with standard development practises, such as source control, continuous integration and unit testing
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Maths or a related discipline
• Great communication skills and an ability to work with a diverse range of people are essential
• Strong Python skills and proficiency with C++
• Curiosity to learn about new technologies, including quantum computing and error correction
• Experience developing scripts or test harnesses with Python
• A deep understanding of how hardware implements software
• Women and other underrepresented groups may be less likely to apply for a role unless they meet all or nearly all of the requirements. If this applies to you, we still encourage you to apply - you may be a great fit, even if you don’t meet every single qualification. We’d love to hear from you
• Experience of working with external customers in a system deployment or on-going support context, or, can demonstrate a desire to work directly with customers
