System Designer

Join Applied Intuition as a System Designer, where you will define and evolve the foundational design language for a platform-level build system. You will establish scalable design system assets, define agent-driven design system patterns, and create code-based standards for engineers and AI coding tools. You will also maintain accessibility standards, validate the design system across real products, and support a multi-platform ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or design systems work, a strong understanding of design system architecture, and excellent visual and interaction design skills.

• Experience translating design systems into production code, reusable components, and AI-consumable standards
• Strong understanding of design system architecture, accessibility, and inclusive design
• 6+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or design systems work, ideally on complex B2B, technical, or data-heavy software
• Bachelors degree in engineering or design field
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design for complex enterprise ecosystems
• Experience partnering closely with engineering
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills
• Strong experience building and scaling platform-level design systems across multiple products or tools
• Strong documentation and communication skills
