Senior Sales Engineer (Iberia)

As a Senior Sales Engineer for the Iberia region, you will play a key role in shaping the future of data management and AI deployment. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with evaluations and benchmarks, working closely with R&D Engineering, and demonstrating technical leadership in storage products and architectures. You will also help develop the sales strategy, create architecture blueprints, and assist with the recruitment and development of the Sales and Sales Engineering team.

• Assisting customers with evaluations and benchmarks, system configurations, and system installations.
• Working closely with VAST R&D Engineering to define product requirements and usability.
• Participating in the creation of sales strategy and tactics and taking ownership of technical responsibilities within customer accounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform in an unstructured environment
• 5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations
• Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and AI frameworks
• Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance computing, networking and enterprise security
• Positive energy, optimism and vision
• Preparation and/or delivery of technical product and architecture presentations to customers and trainees
