Mid-level Backend Engineer (IAM)

Join DataSnipper as a Mid-level Backend Engineer in the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. In this foundational role, you will work on core platform services that power authentication, authorization, and access across our product. You will build and maintain core IAM services, develop scalable and secure backend systems, and collaborate with other backend teams. This position requires 3-6 years of backend development experience, familiarity with cloud platforms, and a solid understanding of API development.

• Contribuer à la construction et à la maintenance des services IAM (authentification, autorisation, gestion des accès).
• Développer des systèmes backend évolutifs et sécurisés, en collaborant avec d'autres équipes backend pour assurer des intégrations fluides.
• Participer à l'amélioration de la fiabilité et des performances du système, et participer à une rotation d'astreinte.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• 3–6 years of backend development experience with OOP languages (C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Experience building scalable systems
• Solid understanding of API development
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and clearly communicate blockers
• Good amount of experience around testing and various methodologies
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Bias to action and sense of ownership
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Exposure to authentication / authorization systems
• Interest in backend security and platform systems
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience working in startups or scaleups
• Experience working in platform teams
