Software Engineer (Web Front End)

Join our team as a Software Engineer II on the Web Front End team. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our growing platform. Your responsibilities will include owning the architecture and development of the Assure web UI, modernizing the existing application, partnering with internal users and stakeholders, and designing and developing interactive data visualizations. You will have the opportunity to work with React and collaborate with backend engineers.

• Ability to translate user and business requirements into intuitive and effective user experiences
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and improving front-end application performance and reliability
• Experience designing and building reusable, maintainable UI components and front-end architectures
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for web applications, including unit, integration, and/or component tests
• Experience integrating web applications with REST APIs and collaborating with backend engineers to consume and present data
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on web front-end development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with users, stakeholders, designers, and software engineers
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with modern web development practices
• Professional experience building production applications with React, including component design, hooks, state management, routing, and component styling
