Process Design Engineer

Join SUEZ, a global leader in environmental services, as a Process Design Engineer. In this role, you will develop high-quality process designs for water, wastewater, desalination, and sludge treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, company standards, and local and international regulations. You will be responsible for process design engineering, process and hydraulic calculations, cost estimation and proposal support, project coordination, standards and technical compliance, HSE responsibilities, quality responsibilities, knowledge management, and technical audits. A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• Prepare conceptual, basic, and detailed process designs for water, wastewater, desalination, and sludge treatment projects during both Proposal and Execution phases.
• Perform process calculations including treatment process sizing, chemical consumption calculations, sludge production calculations, equipment sizing verification, and energy consumption assessments.
• Support proposal development activities by preparing process design inputs, defining process equipment requirements, providing sizing criteria, and supporting CAPEX and OPEX evaluations.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Licensed Chemical Engineer preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience.
• Process Design, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Process Simulation, Hydraulic Calculations, PFD/P&ID Development, HAZOP Participation, Technical Report Writing.
• Proven experience in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, desalination facilities, sludge treatment systems, industrial water projects.
