About The Role

Join Axelera AI as the Vice President of People, where you'll lead our people advisory and culture agenda. You'll work closely with a team of specialists and highly skilled deep-tech professionals, helping them thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Your responsibilities will include owning our people engagement metrics, performance management cycle, learning and development platform, and driving talent development and career growth. You'll also set the operating model for people advisory and culture work, ensure a great employee experience, and lead key culture and talent projects.

  • Agir en tant que conseiller de confiance et coach pour les collègues et les équipes à tous les niveaux, en favorisant une culture de haute performance et d'engagement.
  • Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning in a fast-growing company
  • Demonstrated experience building and running employee culture & engagement programs
  • Knowledge of European labor law is a significant advantage, especially of some of our operating countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Switzerland)
  • Demonstrated experience being a visible, hands-on presence for employees at all levels
  • Comfortable operating at startup pace: fast-moving, with minimal structural support
  • Strong strategic thinking, paired with high energy, warmth, and a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
  • Significant experience in a senior HRBP role, ideally in a fast-paced tech scaleup
  • Tech-savvy, with hands-on experience using AI tools to work smarter
  • Strong coaching and counseling capabilities
  • Experience building connections across both in-office and remote or distributed teams
  • Fluency in English required; German fluency is a strong plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills paired with genuine people orientation
  • Hands-on experience delivering learning programs and team effectiveness initiatives (strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at every level of the organization, from new joiners to leadership
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team, given this role's direct people-management responsibility
