About The Role

Join Applause, a leading provider of crowd-sourced testing solutions. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and expanding our community of over 1 million professional software testers. Your key responsibilities will include recruiting participants for customer requests, improving the tester experience, and contributing to brand awareness. You will also define and implement social media campaigns, provide engaging content, respond to comments and queries, and organize events to build community and boost brand awareness.   • Identifying and recruiting participants for specific customer requests in support of Applause delivery teams.
  • Defining and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
  • Building relationships with testers, potential testers, industry professionals, and journalists.
  • We want someone who lives in the Central or West Coast time zone and has experienced the world of recruiting, including sourcing large numbers of individuals, sometimes with very specific and complex demographics or requirements
  • This person will have a proven track record of driving results and meeting deadlines, as well as be analytical, creative and possess an acute attention to detail
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. test attendance KPIs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven work experience as a community manager
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building online forums, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
