Fiber Technician

Join Nexans, a global leader in electrification, as a Fiber Technician. In this role, you will perform practical technical work related to the assembly, termination, testing, and repair of fiber optic cables and systems. You will contribute to both production and project execution, working at factory locations as well as onshore and offshore when required. You will report to the Technical Manager Telecom and Operations and become part of an international environment where technical expertise, teamwork, and safe execution are essential to delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.

• Performing mechanical assembly, termination, and integration work in accordance with Nexans procedures and guidelines.
• Conducting safety and risk evaluations, including SJA, when work falls outside standard procedures.
• Working closely with engineering, project teams, manufacturing plants, and clients to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality execution.
