About The Role
Join Devialet, a leading audio technology company, as a Senior Audio System Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for pre-sales technical consulting, project execution and acoustic architecture, audio tuning and validation, and quality assurance and industrialization. You will collaborate with clients, design tailored technical solutions, oversee the development of audio systems, and conduct audio tuning activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in audio signal processing or acoustics, and a strong passion for audio technology.
- Analyser les exigences des clients et collaborer avec l'équipe de pré-vente pour concevoir des solutions techniques adaptées.
- Participer aux discussions techniques avec les clients pour affiner l'architecture acoustique proposée et gérer le processus de qualification des composants électro-acoustiques.
- Utiliser des pipelines de réglage dédiés et des outils spécialisés pour effectuer le réglage audio objectif et subjectif.
### WHAT YOU BRING
**Education & Professional Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audio Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in audio signal processing or acoustics.
- Demonstrated experience specifically within automotive audio applications and tuning.
**Technical Expertise**
- Strong foundational knowledge of system engineering, general audio development, and acoustic system design.
- Hands-on proficiency in acoustic measurements, validation testing, and manufacturing processes using industry-standard tools such as Audio Precision, Klippel, and REW.
- Advanced skills in signal processing and analysis utilising MATLAB and MaxMSP.
- Solid understanding of electrodynamic transducers, electronics, and amplifiers.
- Exceptional critical listening skills with proven experience in the subjective tuning of audio products.
**Professional Competencies & Attributes**
- Working English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred, with the ability to communicate in a global team environment and handle basic document work in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including regular visits to client sites near Shenzhen, and occasional international travel.
- Highly adaptable and responsive, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated autonomy and self-direction in executing complex technical tasks.
- A genuine passion for audio technology and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
