Join Adyen, a leading global payment company, as a Software Engineer in our Platform Engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in shaping the resilience, performance, and developer experience of our database platform, which supports payments and money movement totaling over a trillion euros by 2026. As part of the SQL Databases Enablement Team, you will design and develop tooling and services, automate manual tasks, investigate complex performance bottlenecks, and enhance the developer experience. You will also participate in the on-call rotation to learn from and address operational challenges.

• Problem Solver: You are proactive. You prefer performing root-cause analysis and building permanent fixes over applying temporary patches
• A Software Engineer: You are proficient in Python, Java or Go. You don’t just write scripts, you write clean, testable, maintainable code to build infrastructure automation and internal tools
