Compliance and Legal Conducting Officer (Luxembourg)

Join Roundtable, a fast-growing startup in the investment operations sector. As a Compliance and Legal Conducting Officer, you will play a key role in building our fund offering, ensuring regulatory compliance, and structuring new fund products. You will have direct exposure to senior management and company-wide decision-making, and work in a quality-driven environment with ambitious colleagues.

• Lead the AIFM authorisation process with the CSSF, ensuring regulatory compliance of the AIFM and managed funds.
• Build and maintain the Compliance Monitoring Program, structure new fund products, and draft and maintain core legal templates.
• Negotiate directly with fund service providers and support the onboarding of new clients and investment strategies.
• You have a Master’s degree in law obtained from a European university.
• You have gained significant professional experience in a leading law firm in Luxembourg and have worked in the compliance and/or legal department of an AIFM.
• In-depth knowledge of alternative investment funds (AIFs) is essential and experience in dealings with the CSSF is a strong plus.
• An affinity with (or a strong desire to learn about) tax law is a plus!
• You are fluent in English and French.
• You are solution-oriented and proactive (not only within your legal expertise).
• You demonstrate extreme rigour and integrity.
• You have a strong interest in the business and you are able to work effectively within a team (including with non legal colleagues).
