Security Engineer (SecOps & Cloud)

Join our team as a Security Engineer specializing in SecOps and Cloud security. In this role, you will be responsible for improving AWS security configurations, managing and maintaining security tools, coordinating with IT to ensure security baselines are met, and responding to SOC provider alerts. You will also perform vulnerability management, improve application-layer defenses, support access reviews and security tasks, document security configurations, contribute to backup and disaster recovery testing, and provide input to security roadmap planning. • Improve AWS security configurations and manage security tools.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure compliance with security baselines and respond to SOC provider alerts.
• Perform vulnerability management and coordinate patching with IT and DevOps.
• Comfortable collaborating with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams
• 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Cloud Security
• Experience managing and troubleshooting security agents on endpoints
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes
• Familiarity with EDR, MDM, DLP, and identity management (SSO, MFA)
• Knowledge of incident investigation and coordination with SOC services
• Hands-on experience with AWS security configuration and monitoring
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code security (Terraform)
• Knowledge of container security (Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience automating security tasks with scripts or CI/CD integrations
• Exposure to SOC 2, PCI-DSS or ISO 27001 evidence collection and audits
• Interest in continuous improvement and tool optimization
