Robotic Systems Integration Engineer (SLA & SLS)

Join Formlabs, a leading 3D printing company, as a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer. In this role, you will support the entire product development cycle, collaborate with design teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. You will integrate firmware and hardware subsystems, establish interfaces, manage requirements, design test plans, and resolve system issues. Ideal candidates have experience in designing complex electro-mechanical systems, hardware debugging, motion control, and scripting.

• Collaborate with design teams to overcome cross-disciplinary problems and ensure quality product delivery.
• Integrate firmware and hardware of subsystems into one system, manage sub-system/system level requirements.
• Design test plans to validate requirements of subsystems/entire system, execute tests and analyze results.

• Have previous experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems
• Well versed in hardware debugging and passionate about understanding why things work (or don’t)
• Experience managing system and subsystem requirements
• Knowledge of motion control, sensors and control algorithms
• Scripting experience with Python (preferred), Labview, Matlab, etc
• Familiarity with low-level embedded firmware (C++ prefer)
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Experience with consumer electronics
