Build Team Manager

Join our team as a Build Team Manager, where you'll lead a collaborative group of technicians in advancing our core hardware line of products. You'll work closely with our engineering team, manage our internal machine shop, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to your team members. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in hands-on skills, prototype development, and team management.

• Lead a collaborative team of technicians to undertake tasks across engineering teams to help rapidly iterate and advance new product development programs.
• Work with all program leads to understand the top priorities and schedule requirements to ensure programs are staffed with technicians effectively.
• Own our internal Machine Shop, making sure that it is designed, run, and staffed effectively to help us develop products faster.

• Experience managing a technical team of individuals
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a wide background of hands-on skills ranging from fabricating experience, electrical experience, and prototype assembly
• Experience in developing prototypes and making things from napkin sketches
• Familiar with mechanical design, mechatronics, and CAD modeling
