About The Role

Join Qualus, a leading provider of power solutions, as a Contract Administrator in our Power Solutions Group. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of project procurement and sub-contracting, ensuring the completion of key milestones and minimizing commercial risks. You will lead medium to high-complexity procurement and contracting processes, administer contracts for cost, schedule, and quality compliance, and manage post-award activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven experience with ERP systems (SAP proficiency required), and 5-7 years of experience in contract administration are essential for this position.

  • Lead medium to high-complexity procurement and contracting processes, including preparing and managing tender documents, clarifications, evaluations, and awards.
  • Administer contracts to ensure cost, schedule, and quality compliance, and manage post-award activities including change orders, payments, claims, and closeout.
  • Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects, while minimizing commercial risks and enhancing competitive advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Proven experience with ERP systems, with SAP proficiency required
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline; Supply Chain certification (e.g., SCMP, CPSM) is considered an asset
  • 5–7 years of experience in pre-award and post-award contract administration, including public tendering, evaluations, negotiations, contract award, progress payments, invoicing, change management, and dispute resolution, ideally within civil, utilities, or industrial project environments
  • Solid understanding of various contract models, including lump sum, unit rate, and other commercial structures
  • Exposure to Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects (e.g., BC Hydro) is an advantage
  • Highly analytical with excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities
