Finance Collections Intern

Join Virtuagym as a Finance Collections Intern and gain practical experience in a critical area of finance. You'll learn about Accounts Receivable and Collections in a fast-growing SaaS company, develop strong communication and negotiation skills, and contribute to improving our collections processes and customer experience. This internship is designed for someone who wants to grow professionally while making a real impact.

• Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices, build positive relationships, and negotiate payment agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment plans, and collaborate with colleagues to improve collection processes.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities and other finance-related projects, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• You're interested in finance and eager to build a career in Accounts Receivable or Collections
• You're organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple follow-ups
• Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, or a related field that includes accounting
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Dutch and German are a plus. Additional languages are always welcome

• Available for a full-time internship for approximately 5–6 months
• You genuinely enjoy talking to people and feel comfortable making phone calls
• You're resilient and don't shy away from difficult conversations
• You have an outgoing, positive, and confident personality
• You're a natural problem solver who enjoys helping people find solutions
• Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, call centers, or collections
• Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets
• Exposure to ERP or accounting software is a plus
• Experience working with international customers
