About The Role

Join Fever, a leading global entertainment discovery platform, as a Freelance Event Manager. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the on-the-ground delivery of smaller-scale live events, from set-up to breakdown. You will coordinate event staff, suppliers, venues, and contractors, oversee the smooth running of the event, and ensure a high standard of service for guests. This is a flexible position that requires working evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable making decisions when things don't go to plan
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with guests, staff, suppliers and venue teams
  • Previous experience managing or coordinating live events, hospitality operations, bars, venues or visitor experiences
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine interest in creating great events and experiences
  • A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get stuck into whatever needs doing
  • Confident managing people and taking responsibility for an event on the ground
  • Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty
  • A background in events, hospitality, bars, venues or visitor experiences would be particularly useful
  • We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident taking ownership on the ground. You’ll need to be comfortable getting stuck in and doing whatever is needed to help create a successful event
  • Our events are smaller in scale, but we want them to feel polished, well-run and memorable. That means we need people who are happy to move between the big picture and the small details — whether that's briefing a team, helping set up a bar, moving furniture, sorting out a supplier issue or jumping in to help guests
  • This is a great opportunity for an experienced events or hospitality professional who enjoys freelance work and wants to be part of building exciting events from the ground up
  • You don't need to have managed huge-scale events. Good practical experience, a positive attitude and the ability to take ownership are just as important
