Test Automation Engineer (5th Generation Core & Device Functions)

Join our team as a Test Automation Engineer, where you will develop and maintain a reliable, scalable validation infrastructure for 5G Core and device-side network functions. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement and enhance automation solutions and test next-generation wireless systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a scalable test automation framework, writing Python automation scripts, supporting hardware-in-the-loop testing, and collaborating with various engineering teams to improve automation coverage and test efficiency.

• Develop and maintain a scalable test automation framework for 5G Core and device network functions.
• Write Python automation scripts and test harnesses for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with software, platform, systems, and test engineers to improve automation coverage and test efficiency.

• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites
• Strong Python programming skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and a disciplined approach to debugging and defect tracking
• Good working knowledge of Linux, including shell scripting, networking, and system debugging
• 2–5 years of experience developing test automation for wireless, networking, embedded, or distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with virtualized environments such as VMware, Proxmox, or similar
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, or channel emulators
• Experience with 5G Core or radio access network technologies
• Experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar network analysis tools
• Exposure to Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), satellite communication
