VC Associate DeepTech & AI M/F

Join XAnge, a leading European venture capital firm, as a VC Associate focused on DeepTech and AI. In this role, you will source investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, manage the internal investment process, support portfolio companies, and represent XAnge at startup events. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree or Master's, 2-5 years of experience in VC, startups, Deep tech, or tech consulting, and a genuine passion for AI and Deep Technologies. Fluency in English and French is required, and German is a plus.

• Sourcing investment opportunities in DeepTech and AI across Europe, conducting proactive deep dives on sector themes, and building a strategic network of dealflow sources.
• Analyzing and selecting investment opportunities with a strong technical lens, leading deep dives alongside a Partner/Principal, and presenting key opportunities at the weekly meeting.
• Managing the internal investment process end-to-end, participating in LOI negotiation, due diligence, audits, legal documentation, and coordination with back/middle office.
• Engineering degree or Master's (science/tech background valued)
• 2–5 years of experience in VC, startups, Deep tech, or tech consulting
• Genuine passion for AI and Deep Technologies
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
• Empathetic listener with integrity and conviction
• Clear, synthetic writing and oral communication
• Agile with tools (we love Notion, Airtable, Pipedrive, Zapier!)
• Fluent in English & French — German is a plus
