Associate SQA Engineer

Tasks Collaborate with Product, Development, and other cross-functional teams to review requirements and provide early feedback on potential quality risks. Analyze product requirements and create detailed, well-structured test cases and test scenarios. Perform different types of testing including: ○ Functional Testing ○ Regression Testing ○ Smoke Testing ○ Integration Testing ○ Exploratory Testing Perform testing across web applications and API layers. Validate RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman. Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting details. Perform root cause analysis of production issues and assist teams in preventing recurring problems. Support post-release testing and production validation. Maintain test documentation and ensure proper traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. Monitor and improve quality metrics within the assigned team. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance. Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes. Hands-on experience with manual testing of web applications. Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles. Experience working with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have ISTQB or other QA-related certifications. Basic understanding of automation testing concepts playwright or AI related tools. Experience with API automation or UI automation tools. Knowledge of SQL/database validation.
