Trade and Transaction Reporting Officer

About The Role
This role safeguards Swissquote Bank Europe’s regulatory integrity by driving the accurate, timely, and digitised delivery of key transaction reports, with a primary focus on EMIR and MiFIR. Acting as an internal compliance expert within Operations, you will oversee the end-to-end reporting lifecycle, collaborate with technical and business teams to maintain an audit-ready framework, and minimize operational risk. In this role, you will, among others:
- Be responsible for ensuring that the Bank submits all required operational regulatory reports (including EMIR, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR, CSSF 20/747 ) accurately and on time,
- work with local and group stakeholders to ensure that underlying data errors are addressed, to manage changes to regulations, and support the integration of Compliance led changes to reporting,
- as needed, write and maintain thorough documentation of reporting processes, and be able to provide supporting resources as required for internal and external audits,
- provide support and guidance on other business reporting depending on capacity and the needs of the business.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in regulatory trade reporting or market infrastructure reporting (e.g., trade repositories, clearing houses, or investment firm reporting).
- Regulatory Experience: EMIR is the priority for this role, with a strong working knowledge of MIFIR, SFTR, and CSDR. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with trade reporting, lifecycle management, and data validation for derivatives and securities transactions. Experience adapting reporting processes to evolving market infrastructure and derivatives regulations is essential.
- Experience documenting and maintaining processes and procedures.
- An understanding of business processes review / change management is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis tools, including SQL are an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English; French is not required but may be an advantage.
