FleishmanHillard has an immediate opening for an Account Executive to join our dynamic and collaborative Corporate Communications practice. This position provides the opportunity to focus on building media strategies that result in high-quality placements and implementing public relations tactics for leading top-tier clients. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leads to develop, present, and execute plans for integrated communications campaigns, which could include earned media, amplification tactics, influencer and social strategy and sponsored content that deliver measurable results.
  • Bring proactive earned media strategy counsel and solid reporter contacts to client programs, leveraging trends and providing strategic client counsel as programs evolve.
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships across traditional media including business, trade, and technology media, including coverage in tech publications, financial services press, and relevant vertical outlets.
  • Draft or refine messaging, pitch, Q&A documents and other campaign materials, as well as plans and recaps
  • Project-manage major initiatives for clients, including executive thought leadership, product announcements, research report launches, speaking engagements, industry tradeshows, customer stories, and award submissions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience providing public relations counsel to clients.
  • Demonstrated experience executing B2B communications plans.
  • Well-rounded experience in the B2B corporate communications practice area, with proven success working with a business, enterprise technology, and financial services media outlets.
  • Understanding of product announcements, research-driven storytelling, earned media strategy, and thought leadership development.
  • Develop and edit high-quality written materials, including client communications, media correspondence and story angles; strong presentation skills required.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to incorporate these into everyday client work.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities seamlessly, effectively and efficiently.
  • Energetic self-starter and resourceful problem solver – gets things moving and keeps things on track; knows when to ask for help.
  • Intellectually curious – follows industry news and seeks out proactive opportunities to elevate corporate reputation.

The anticipated salary range for an Account Executive is $54,000.00 - $70,000.00.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
