Creative Strategist
CORSAIR · Munich, Germany
About The Role
What You'll Do
- Lead the data-driven strategic planning and development of creative concepts for platforms like Meta,
Google (YouTube), TikTok, Reddit, and emerging channels
- Oversee execution of creative projects and campaigns from concept through final delivery, partnering
closely with copywriters, designers and performance marketing team
- Systematically develop new creative concepts, angles, hooks, and storylines for each of these platforms,
and keep a steady pipeline of new winning creatives
- Write paid media video scripts and brief content creators, guiding hooks, pacing, and messaging to make
sure UGC and video ads land the strategy on camera
- Analyze the performance of live campaigns and creatives against KPIs, turning results into concrete
learnings for the next round of testing
- Track competitor and category creative trends across channels, including where creative fatigue is
setting in
- Work with the performance marketing team on incrementality and lift testing to figure out how much of a
result actually came from the creative versus targeting or bidding
- Keep an eye on new and emerging ad channels, and make the call on when it's worth building creative
strategy for one
- Build and maintain a framework connecting creative variables (hook type, format, messaging angle) to
CTR, CVR, CAC, and ROAS
- Deliver clear, actionable reports for stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in creative strategy, performance marketing, or similar, with ownership over the strategy, ideally
in B2C or D2C ecommerce
- Hands-on understanding of how platforms like Meta Advantage+ and Google Performance Max actually
score, learn from, and prioritize creative assets
- Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating strategic thinking behind creative campaigns
- Solid grasp of creative testing methodology: statistical significance, test design, and knowing when a test
is underpowered
- Comfortable working directly with performance data (CTR, CVR, CAC, ROAS, frequency) to make and
defend creative decisions, and willing to drop a “great idea” when the numbers say otherwise
- English fluency required, with German being an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in consumer electronics, gaming, or creator-economy brands
- Experience briefing and directing UGC creators
- Proven track record handling mid-to-high six-figure budgets and delivering strong ROI
- Fluent in the current AI creative toolkit (generative image/video, dubbing/localization) and AI-powered
bidding — enough to brief, direct, and quality-check the work, not necessarily to operate every tool
- Solid understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, and first-party data strategies
Who You Are
- You think about creatives systematically with a framework behind it. When someone asks why a piece of
- creative is winning, your answer starts with a number. You're fine being the person who has to explain why
- a test result doesn't mean what everyone in the room assumes it means. When AI can generate fifty
- variants in an afternoon, you're the one who knows which three are actually worth running and which
- ideas aren't worth making at all.
What's in It for You
- Ownership over the creative strategy for campaigns with meaningful budget and visibility across the
business
- Elgato is genuinely open to experimentation. We back bold ideas and aren't afraid to go a little off-script
when it makes sense.
- Our products are used and loved by millions of creators around the world.
- You'll be part of a well-resourced team within the Corsair Group, while still working at the speed of a
brand that moves like a startup.
- Competitive package, hybrid working in Munich, and gear discounts you'll actually use
