Agent - Order Management

About The Role
The  Order Management team  plays a critical role in ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient movement of freight and information. As an Order Management Coordinator, you will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily operational activities, shipment tracking, documentation accuracy, and vendor communication. You will ensure compliance with company procedures and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper and timely movement of freight and related information across the Order Management process.
- Maintain a smooth and efficient freight process flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system.
- Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Monitor shipment reports and proactively resolve issues impacting customer service.
- Ensure timely preparation and communication of export-related documents, including arrival notices and required client communication.
- Validate accurate and timely vendor and client billing.
- Coordinate directly with customers to manage international shipments and meet service expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, trucking companies, and other service providers.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, Operational Process Standards (OPS), governmental requirements, and customer-specific policies.
- Analyze department process flows to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and service.
- Ensure all customer standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed and updated in the DLSOP database.
- Meet assigned KPI targets and deliver performance aligned with company standards.
- Manage overseas correspondence, ensuring timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by handling shipment requests and issues professionally and promptly.

- Basic understanding of transportation processes (all modes a plus).
- Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word).
- Fluent in English.
- 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, understand, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support team success.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
