About The Role

  • Reporting directly to the Region Account Manager, the Technical Support Engineer is the high-mobility, frontline technical expert of the Centralized Technical HUB. This position executes precision field audits, routine standard recommendation visits, emergency pest scouting, and technical worker training across all designated owned, managed, and consulting-only properties.
  • Operating strictly within a consultative framework, this role carries Zero Direct Line Authority over farm labor or regional operational execution. The Technical Support Engineer functions as an elite technical coach on the ground and relies entirely on schedules and routes facilitated and issued by the Planning Department.
  • Execute routine and unannounced on-site technical audits, utilizing the Quality Department’s 1–5 scoring matrix to evaluate soil, irrigation, nutrition, and crop health status.
  • Author data-backed, logic-driven technical recommendation reports following every site visit, detailing exact corrective protocols and submitting them within strict contractual timelines.
  • Monitor, log, and document the actual field performance and biological efficacy of traded vendor inputs (fertilizers, pesticides) and leased machinery used on client farms.
  • Conduct localized, hands-on field workshops for farm labor regarding high-precision tasks, including pollination, pruning, canopy management, and harvesting protocols.
  • Cross-reference physical field observations with digital soil moisture sensors, weather stations, and ERP logs, escalating data discrepancies to the Regional Account Manager.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with the daily deployment routes, ticketing priority rules, and travel schedules issued by the Centralized Planning Department
  • B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Plant Protection, or Crop Science.
  • Excellent Arabic and good command of English (for reporting)
  • Familiarity with softwares, helpdesk tools, and data logging, Customer relations.
  • 3–5 years of intensive, direct field experience in large-scale commercial fruit or high-value date palm cultivation.
  • Proven, practical field capability to identify crop nutritional deficiencies, irrigation blockages, and phytosanitary threats.
  • Experience using mobile agricultural logging applications, entering field data into ERPs, and handling basic digital mapping tools.
