About The Role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SharePoint Developer III based in India.
This is an opportunity for an experienced developer to build and enhance enterprise-grade collaboration and business solutions across the Microsoft 365 <ecosystem.You> will design, develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Online and on-premises environments.The role combines hands-on SharePoint Framework development with Power Platform automation and Microsoft 365 <integrations.You> will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while improving processes and user experiences.Your work will span development, integration, migration, governance, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform <support.You>’ll collaborate closely with business and technical teams in a fully remote, learning-oriented environment.The position is well suited to a technically strong SharePoint professional who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering practical enterprise solutions.
Accountabilities
SharePoint Development: Design, develop, customize, and maintain solutions across SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premises environments, including SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019.
SPFx Solutions: Build custom web parts, extensions, forms, and other SharePoint components using SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
API & Integration Development: Develop integrations using CSOM, JSOM, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and other interfaces to connect SharePoint with internal and external systems.
Platform Customization: Configure and customize SharePoint sites, templates, content types, lists, libraries, views, permissions, metadata, and information architecture.
Power Platform: Build Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI integrations to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
Workflow Automation: Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and, where applicable, Nintex, leveraging connectors and integrations to support business processes.
Microsoft 365 Integration: Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Azure AD, and other Microsoft 365 services.
Administration & Support: Support site creation, governance, permissions, content management, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical issues reported by users.
Migration: Support and contribute to SharePoint migration initiatives, particularly transitions from on-premises environments to SharePoint Online.
Documentation & Testing: Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and solution specifications while supporting UAT and successful production deployments.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, assess technical options, and translate business needs into effective SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
Requirements
Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience developing SharePoint solutions, with strong hands-on expertise across both SharePoint Online and on-premises environments.
SharePoint Expertise: Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013/2016/2019, including architecture, metadata, permissions, governance, lists, libraries, content types, and site structures.
SPFx Development: Advanced experience with SharePoint Framework and modern front-end technologies including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery, with the ability to develop responsive and maintainable SharePoint interfaces.
APIs: Practical experience with CSOM, JSOM, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph API for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 development.
Power Platform: Experience creating Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI integrations to automate and improve business processes.
Authentication & Identity: Knowledge of Azure AD and authentication mechanisms within Microsoft 365 environments.
Automation: Experience developing workflows and process automation using Power Automate; Nintex experience is an advantage.
Migration: Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix is preferred.
Agile Delivery: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
Microsoft Teams: Experience developing or integrating Microsoft Teams applications is advantageous.
Certifications: Microsoft 365 Developer or SharePoint-related certifications are preferred.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance-optimization skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.
Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Availability: Ability to join within approximately two weeks is preferred.
