About The Role

  • Scan the necessary digital documentation for personnel files and keep them organized.
  • Monitor weekly attendance records for all employees and apply the appropriate disciplinary actions.
  • Gather the information needed to create absenteeism and staff turnover charts.
  • Verify the proper operation of snack services, outdoor kiosks, ATMs, food trucks, and transportation services.
  • Update communication boards.
  • Schedule overtime transportation and snack services, and issue overtime snack tickets.
  • Monitor and track daily the number of employees using transportation to assess coverage and anticipate the need for additional units.
  • Participate in all office activities such as answering the phone, voice mail, and document scanning.
  • Provide support for other HR activities: motivational events, recruitment, recognition program events, etc.
  • Assist staff with general issues such as lost meal cards, bank cards, badges, payroll discrepancies, vacation, etc.
  • Support the implementation of disciplinary actions.
  • Issue badges for Howmet Mexico (HDM) personnel.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of acceptable Human Resources practices, administrative systems, and PC applications.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Positive attitude and initiative for performing job duties.
  • Effective communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers, clients, consumers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions presented in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or programmed form.

Experience

  • This position requires a minimum of 1 year of field experience.
  • Preferably knowledge of the Mexican Federal Labor Law
