  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Officer to join the Financial Transactions team for a six-month fixed term contract.

As a Purchasing Officer, you’ll be focussed on

  • Managing purchasing workflows including creation and amendments Purchase Orders
  • Managing the ticket queue and shared mailboxes for requests from the wider business
  • Providing support and training to the business around the P2P process and SAP
  • Responding to external queries regarding orders
  • Supporting the team with data maintenance in SAP
  • This full-time role is based in Wellington Conservation House.

If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you

  • demonstrated understanding of P2P process in SAP or a similar ERP system
  • knowledge of purchasing or procurement principles and processes
  • administration and data entry experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively provide technical expertis e
  • able to build and maintain relationships with internal customers, peers, and external suppliers
  • highly organised , and able to meet deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Computer savvy and a quick learner of software and technical systems

Salary: $ 65,590 –$ 76,589 , depending on skills and experience.

Eligibility: You must hold a valid N ew Z ealand wo r k visa that covers the duration of employment.
