About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to support the planning, design, construction, and operation of major bridge and highway infrastructure projects . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, managing environmental risks, and implementing sustainability initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental assessments and studies for bridge and highway projects
- Monitor environmental performance during project design and construction phases.
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring.
- Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in degree or equivalent professional qualifications in environmental science, planning or related field
- minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental impact assessments, preferably for transport projects, funded by MDBs
- Male or female
- Good communication in English Language
