Operations Aide

Position Title: Operations Aid

Reports To: Office Administrator

Employment Status: Part-time (hourly), during school hours

Summary

The person in this support role will assist in guiding Eden’s schoolday routines. This role will contribute to the smooth function of the school day, including arrival, breaks, lunch, transitions between classes, and dismissal.

• Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing, personal relationship with Him.
• Be a member of a local church and wholeheartedly embrace the doctrine of Doxa Church.
• This person must be humble, loyal, trustworthy, capable, flexible, detail-oriented, able to hold confidence and have a servant’s heart. In addition, this individual must be able to comprehend and implement the vision and initiatives of Eden Classical Academy and possess excellent clerical, organizational, and computer skills with good interpersonal competencies.

Experience or Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with young children in a classroom, childcare, or related setting.

Basic understanding of child development and early learning practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, teachers, and parents.
• Ability to follow directions and support the management of groups of students.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include

• Assist with daily school rhythms, activities, and routines.
• Supervise students during school activities, recess, lunch, and transitions.
• Provide support in managing student behavior, modeling respectful and kind interactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in Eden’s facility.
• Support Grammar teachers with any outside-of-class help needed (i.e. projects, recreation)
• Communicate positively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Uphold the school’s mission, values, and policies.
