Procurement/Purchase- Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Handle procurement of engineering materials, equipment, spares, and consumables.
Manage procurement for plant maintenance, CAPEX, expansion, and project requirements.
Source and develop reliable vendors for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, civil, and utility items.
Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and issue POs.
Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Stores, QA/QC, and Finance teams.
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery, quality, inspection, and documentation.
Monitor project procurement schedules and ensure availability of critical/long-lead items.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement within approved budgets.
Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Qualification & Experience

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
4–8 years
of relevant experience in Engineering/Project Procurement, preferably in Chemical/Pharma/Process Industry.
Good negotiation, vendor management, ERP, MS Excel, and communication skills.
