Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting and complex account reconciliations;
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes;
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial reports and financial variances;
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls;
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve complex accounting matters;
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting best practices;
• Review work and provide guidance to junior team members where applicable.

What we are looking for

• Higher education in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field;
• Solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes;
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls;
• Experience with audits and financial statement preparation;
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
• Confident communication skills and stakeholder management experience;
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative approachs;
• Good command of English;
• Scandinavian language skills would be considered an advantage.
