Your Role
- You will be operating the estates store to ensure a smooth supply of parts, furniture, fittings, equipment and loan items to maintenance teams within contractual timescales.
- You will be acting as the local point of contact for maintenance teams, responding to queries and supporting sourcing, purchasing and stock replenishment activities.
- You will be receiving, checking, storing and issuing stock, tools and equipment accurately, safely and in line with company procedures.
- You will be carrying out stock takes, inventory control activities and audit checks, ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained.
- You will be managing the safe handling and control of hazardous substances, ensuring correct documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- You will be maintaining a clean, safe and organised store environment while following quality, health, safety and environmental procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: You will have GCSE Maths and English, together with a clean UK driving licence.
- Experience: You will have experience within a maintenance or logistics environment, including inventory control, warehousing procedures, administrative duties and a basic understanding of health and safety.
- Skills: You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to undertake manual handling activities, work independently, follow procedures accurately and use Microsoft Office applications confidently.
