KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Preparer for group reporting submission on quarterly and annually. Handle all the queries raised from group office related to group reporting.
  • Reviewer for subsidiary group reporting submission on quarterly.
  • Oversee the SL and GL Reconciliation for group ledger and involve clearance & mitigation process
  • Key person responsible for the Clearwater system, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reflected accordingly.
  • Communicate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the group reporting figures are reconciled in both FI and MI reporting
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing the valuation of the Company's investment-linked funds and other investment account related issues.
  • Constantly identify the gap and provide alternative solutions / system enhancement to incorporate the reporting requirements rolled out by group office
  • Attend to any ad-hoc request / new initiative from Group in terms of financial reporting
  • Participate in any ad-hoc task / project / UAT assigned by the immediate superior

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of degree or equivalent, in Finance / Accounting
  • Member of accounting professional body
  • At least 5 years of working experience with 3 years in finance department relating Takaful or conventional insurance
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing a team
