As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for the quality of our products. You will keep records up to date and use various equipment to conduct inspections to test and report any defects. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skill set and capabilities.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for
- Identifying HSE concerns, including any non-compliance with Baker Hughes HSE procedures. Participating in safety initiatives and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Performing routine quality inspection activities, including incoming material inspection and in-process inspection.
- Conducting quality control activities in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and ensure their effective implementation.
- Collaborating with suppliers and customers to investigate and resolve product-related quality issues.
- Maintaining assigned QC areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, and regularly submitting safety observation cards.
- Managing SAP inspection lots and ensuring accurate inspection records are maintained.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and workplace safety.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will
- Hold a diploma or above. Major in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Have experience in manufacturing industry. Minimum of one year of experience in mechanical products or quality inspection.
- Have ability to read/interpret machining and engineering drawings. Be proficient in the use of various measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of inspection methods and quality control practices.
- Be Familiar with ISO 9000 Quality Management System standards and procedures.
- Have basic English and fluent Mandarin communication skills. Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Have good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Solid teamwork and collaboration skills. Hardworking, self-motivated, and results-driven.
