What You’ll Do
You’ll be out in the field keeping our network strong, reliable, and ready for anything
- Troubleshoot and repair HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) networks
- Test and optimize signal performance
- Maintain key network equipment (nodes, fiber systems, power supplies)
- Perform fiber splicing and activation
- Handle outages and support emergency restoration
- Conduct preventative maintenance and system balancing
- Identify signal leakage and ensure compliance
- Support network expansion and serviceability
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing WOW ! professionally
What You Bring
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing in HFC networks is highly preferred
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
- Enjoy working outdoors and staying active
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable learning technical skills and using tools
- Ability to explain things clearly to customers
- Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, on-call rotation)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
What the Job Is Really Like

- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Climbing ladders, working on poles/roofs, and in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
- Lifting up to 90 lbs. and handling tools/equipment
- Operating company vehicles safely
- Working near electrical equipment and power lines
