Key Result Areas

• Participate in the development of the marketing & communications strategic plan and e-marketing strategy
• ➢
• Implement approved plans under the guidance of the Marketing and Communications Manager
• ➢
• Carry out market research to identify the positioning and awareness levels of the organization and suggest ways to enhance the same
• ➢
• Interface with the Communications team and creative agencies for project briefings and for design execution requests
• ➢
• Liaise with representatives of different PUE entities to understand their marketing and communications needs and provide them with needed services
• ➢
• Help produce brochures, presentations, and other marketing & communications collateral
• ➢
• Review the content of written communications (both external & internal) to ensure consistency
• ➢
• Coordinate with QF Communications on marketing and communications-related projects to validate the format and content, and to ensure conformity and branding
• ➢
• Coordinate with third parties to produce communications materials
• ➢
• Vet content for the organization’s website and ensure that it is kept updated
• ➢
• Source entity-branded promotional gift items and items for sale to publicize the organization and serve as a source of income
• ➢
• Identify publicity opportunities, both traditional and in social media; organize press conferences and other media events
• ➢
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience

➢

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

➢

2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience; knowledge of branding and advertising is an advantage

➢

Strong interpersonal communication skills in both Arabic and English

➢

Strong organizational skills

➢

Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is essential

➢

Proficiency in MS Office applications
