About the team

Our Prague-based team works closely with PwC Germany as a nearshore consulting hub supporting large-scale transformation initiatives in the financial services sector. We combine strong German language skills, consulting expertise, and deep understanding of banking, insurance, and investment services. While fully integrated with PwC Germany, you will also be part of the Czech Technology Consulting practice and have opportunities to contribute to initiatives across both countries.

About your manager

Romana Mrazova is a Manager in PwC’s Technology Consulting practice. Since 2017, she has combined technology consulting with hands-on delivery across software development, digital transformation, and SAP transformation projects in the automotive and telecommunications sectors. Her expertise spans product management, business analysis, project governance, and release management. Having lived and worked in Germany and China, she brings an international perspective and a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and delivery excellence.

Job description & summary

• As a Senior Process Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering large-scale business and technology transformations for leading financial institutions in Germany.
• Analyze and optimize business processes across banking, insurance, and investment management organizations
• Lead process assessments and design future-state operating models and workflows
• Translate business needs into structured requirements and solution designs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership to drive successful delivery
• Support project governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder alignment
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and decision-making processes
• Contribute to agile and hybrid delivery teams across business and technology domains
• Drive digital transformation initiatives leveraging modern technologies and automation solutions
• Own workstreams and support strategic decisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to senior client stakeholders

Examples of projects you may work on

Branch Network Digital Transformation

You analyze how bank branches must evolve as customer behaviour shifts online. You map current processes, identify opportunities for digitization, and define future customer journeys combining digital and human interactions. You design new branch workflows, create requirements for banking tools and employee enablement, and develop business cases demonstrating cost efficiencies and growth opportunities for executive stakeholders.

What matters to us

• 3+ years of experience in banking, asset & wealth management, or management consulting with strong knowledge of financial services processes
• Proven expertise in process analysis, process modelling, requirements engineering, and transformation projects
• Professional German language skills (B2-C1) and English language skills (C1)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to navigate complex environments
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams
• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or a related field

What will help you stand out

• Experience in credit, securities, or core banking domains
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Process Consultant
• Understanding of back-office and middle-office banking operations
• Knowledge of business analytics, process mining, RPA, or other automation technologies
• Project management experience within agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Strong curiosity for emerging technologies and their application in business transformation
