ROLE PURPOSE

As a member of the Plant Leadership Team (PLT), the Progressive Maintenance & Utilities Lead will lead the Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar within the Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) framework and drive the plant's journey towards a Zero Breakdown Culture.

This role is responsible for building maintenance capability, improving equipment reliability, strengthening utilities performance, driving energy efficiency, and embedding world-class maintenance practices across the plant .

The role is focused on coaching, capability building, and technical leadership rather than day-to-day maintenance execution.

Your goal will be to ensure that the site manufacturing & support activities, without interruption, without any facilities shortages and/or any issues thereof. You will achieve 100% compliance to Local legal regulations, Quality, Health Safety & Environment management systems and standards. You are responsible for the management and maintenance of site facilities, buildings and equipment(s) (hardware & software).

You will

  • Works cross functionally to develop and implement a strategic Facilities road-map and annual operating plan which is a competitive advantage to Mondelēz. Partner with internal & external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals. Establish a strong governance to review & control Operational performance and continuous Improvement plan to deliver against best in class both internally and externally.
  • Lead and be accountable that Building Maintenance program, Facilities maintenance program capabilities, including maintenance repairs & overall operations are in place. Accountable to insure adherence to business continuity plan, manufacturing standards government regulations are understood by all employees/services providers at the site, regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
  • Provide leadership, coaching to Facilities team towards implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance and operation teams; PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar, and CBM (condition based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s) etc.
  • Role model Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and builds skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with latest modern practices. Have a clear people succession and resource plan, for the asset & technology population , identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain and develop critical talent
  • Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives, and goals.

What you will bring

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standards
  • An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, PM (Progressive Maintenance) expertise, Spare parts management, SAP PM module end user knowledge, Technology & Engineering automation basics.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Progressive Maintenance Leadership

  • Lead the Progressive Maintenance Pillar and drive equipment reliability across the plant.
  • Establish and sustain preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
  • Drive breakdown elimination and continuous improvement initiatives.

Capability Building

  • Develop maintenance capability across engineering and operations teams.
  • Coach technical leaders and strengthen organizational expertise in reliability and maintenance excellence.
  • Support capability transfer through Autonomous Maintenance initiatives.

Reliability & Operational Excellence

  • Improve equipment availability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and drive sustainable corrective actions.
  • Improve key reliability metrics including OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.

Plant Leadership

  • Own maintenance and infrastructure budgets.
  • Support capital projects, plant expansions, and equipment investments.
  • Provide technical expertise to improve future plant design and asset reliability

Technical & Utilities Governance

  • Provide leadership across maintenance, utilities, electrical, instrumentation, and automation functions.
  • Ensure reliable and efficient operation of critical plant infrastructure and utility systems.
  • Support modernization, automation, and reliability improvement initiatives.

Safety, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental requirements.
  • Drive energy optimization and sustainability initiatives across the site.
  • Champion safe maintenance practices and technical governance

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, or Plant Technical Operations.
  • Strong hands-on maintenance foundation with progression into maintenance leadership roles.
  • Experience working within Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S), or similar operational excellence frameworks.
  • Proven track record of driving reliability improvements, capability building, and maintenance excellence in highly automated manufacturing environments. Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and systems-thinking capabilities.
