Product Designer
Vectors · La Goulette, TN, United States
About The Role
As our Product Designer, you will shape the future of Vectors's apps and solutions for Jira and Confluence within the Atlassian ecosystem. You'll help create intuitive experiences that make information more accessible, actionable, and valuable for teams.
You will work closely with Product and Development to bring our product vision to life. You know how Jira and Confluence work, you understand how teams actually use them, and you design with that context in mind. If you're excited to solve real user problems inside a complex ecosystem and thrive in a fast-paced team, this role is for you.
What you will be doing
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for Vectors's products within the Atlassian ecosystem, balancing improvements to existing features with new ones.
- Use and extend our design system, building reusable components that keep the experience consistent across products.
- Turn ideas into prototypes, user flows, and mockups that communicate your thinking clearly to the team.
- Work closely with Product and Development throughout the process, from early concepts to final implementation.
- Review shipped features against the original designs and make sure the result holds up.
- Help shape the product's visual identity and UX strategy as Vectors grows.
- Bring new ideas to the table that push our design process and products forward.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design with a portfolio showcasing your work on digital products, SaaS platforms, or other user-centered solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing for the Atlassian ecosystem. Jira and Confluence are the foundation our product is built on, so knowing how to work with them is a strong plus. If you haven't worked with them yet, you should be up for diving into a platform that comes with its own rules and design patterns.
- Skilled in Figma, comfortable working with design systems and building and using reusable components.
- Understand UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture, and can simplify complex problems.
- A creative problem solver who takes ownership from concept to execution. You can work within our current products, understand existing designs, and build new ones that fit within our existing design systems.
- Experience working closely with development teams, from design through implementation. You know how to take feedback well and turn it into the right changes.
- Communicate clearly. We work hybrid or remotely, so you're active and easy to follow in calls and chats.
- Fluent in English. Additional languages are a bonus.
- What matters most is a strong portfolio, not your degree.
