About The Role
The Opportunity
We are looking for proactive Depot Supervisor to take the lead in keeping our Swanson depot running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, support teams of drivers and cleaners and make sure services are delivered to the highest safety and customer service standards.

You’re a strong people leader with a knack for problem solving and keeping operations moving. You know how to balance the needs of your team, customers, and the business while staying calm under pressure.
You’ll bring
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and get the best out of your team
- Confidence in managing daily operations, rosters, and incident responses
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great organisational and planning ability, with high attention to detail
- Strong computer and technology skills
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in public transport, logistics, or a similar large operating environment
- Knowledge of compliance, safety, or regulatory requirements in operations
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team of drivers and cleaners, ensuring they are engaged, safe and delivering great service
- Manage daily depot operations: bus dispatch, rosters, parking, and on-the-day service adjustments
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and wellbeing processes—making safety a top priority in all interactions
- Oversee incident management, ensuring quick response, accurate reporting and a people-first approach
- Partner with HR, training and workshop teams to support recruitment, onboarding, training and fleet maintenance
- Build positive relationships with customers, unions and contractors while ensuring service and business KPIs are met
- Drive improvements in efficiency, compliance, and customer experience
What You'll Work
This role operates on a rotating 12-day roster designed to provide extended time off between work blocks
- 3 days on - 3:30am - 3:30pm
- 3 days off
- 3 days on - 2:00pm - 2:00am
- 3 days off
