About The Role
Opportunity: Part-time opportunity with a growing medical practice with locations across the CSRA and Statesboro.
Who We Are: For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA. With 5 offices, 16 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best.
Duties (summary): The CT Technician performs CT procedures and provides staff physicians with diagnostic images for review, as well as load, dispense, disinfect, and upload all Watch-Pat devices.
Our Ideal Candidate: Licensed Radiologic Technologist RT(R) with strong patient focus, ability to work independently and document accurately. Must be available Fridays and interested in working flexible part-time schedule primarily in our Aiken office.
Outpatient or office-based CT experience, EMR proficient, and knowledge of radiology safety protocols preferred.
Work Environment: Personnel are at a risk of radiation exposure. Radiation-monitoring devices are in all offices and are checked Quarterly.
Schedule: Flexible Part-time Tuesday- Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Requirements
Candidate Profile
- Current Radiologic Technologist RT(R) license and a South Carolina Certification from SCRQSA.
- Working knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality standards.
- Ability to independently perform CT examinations in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, manufacturer guidelines, applicable laws, and organizational policies.
- Ability to safely assist with transferring, repositioning, and supporting patients of varying sizes and mobility levels including use of wheelchairs.
- Requires adequate visual acuity to assess patients, review orders and electronic images, and operate CT equipment and computer systems.
- Ability to hear patient concerns, alarms, verbal instructions, and respond promptly in routine and emergency situations.
