About The Role

Drives minibus, van or lightweight truck to transport clients, trainees, or company personnel

Shuttle bus Schedule

Thursday 3pm-12am

Friday 3pm-2am

Saturday 3pm- 2am

Sunday 2pm-12am

  • Drives the vehicle from individual or central loading area to on and off property facilities, and or training areas, to and from parking areas, or as directed by Senior Management.
  • Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
  • Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report whereabouts or disruption of service.
  • Cleans and services the vehicle with fuel lubricants and accessories.
  • Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers.
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proficient in English verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to push/pull or lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear, and regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, climb or balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth and distance perception, to perceive sizes, shapes, temperatures, textures, or odors and ability to adjust focus.
  • Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment and for being gracious to all guests and co-workers. Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events while enthusiastically supporting, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures that behavior and appearance comply with established standards.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.
  • Must possess a valid Indiana Driver’s license and have a clean driving record as noted on the BMV report. Will require access to all general areas of the Racing facility.
  • Ability to work in a smoking environment and a moderate noise level while the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic/caustic chemicals.
