Northrop Grumman is seeking Interns, Logistics Management to join the Aeronautics Sector Intern Program . This position will be located in one of the following locations: Palmdale, CA / Redondo Beach, CA / El Segundo, CA / San Diego, CA

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Product Support organization.

As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of specializations that may include:

  • Assist in supporting the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from point of origin to customer delivery to help meet defined customer requirements.
  • Support efforts to achieve customer service and schedule objectives while operating within established budgetary and financial constraints.
  • Contribute to the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, including replenishment, demand management, data interchange, and electronic data systems administration.
  • Help build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic customers through logistics-focused activities and support.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must

  • Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.
  • Be majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related degree program.
  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 or higher
  • Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

Intern Pay Range

  • Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $19.25-$34.75
  • Master’s: $27.50-$43.25

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
