Help drive the strategic decisions behind Micron's global Assembly & Test network. As a Senior Financial Analyst , you will influence critical investments, manufacturing strategies, and technology roadmaps that support the production of the world's most advanced memory and storage solutions.
Working with leaders across the business, you will turn complex manufacturing and financial challenges into actionable insights, helping Micron strengthen its competitive advantage and accelerate innovation in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead complex Conventional and Advanced Packaging scenario studies and financial analyses to support Micron’s Assembly & Test manufacturing network.
- Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership teams to evaluate business scenarios and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Develop cost models and financial analyses to support key decisions related to cost competitiveness, capacity planning, manufacturing network optimization, and technology transitions.
- Manage the increasing volume, speed, and complexity of scenario requests by improving analytical processes, standardizing study methodologies, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Leverage advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to automate workflows, improve turnaround time, and enhance the quality, consistency, and efficiency of cost studies.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing finance, with hands-on experience in financial modeling, product cost modeling, and manufacturing cost analysis.
Required Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of semiconductor back-end manufacturing processes, including post-probe, assembly, and test, with strong knowledge of cost drivers, cost structures, and yield drivers.
- Experience in competitor cost benchmarking and familiarity with semiconductor industry best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex manufacturing data, identify performance gaps, quantify financial impacts, and translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations.
Digital, Analytics, and AI Skills
- Advanced Excel modeling capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and data analytics.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to improve business processes and decision making.
Leadership Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing business environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional decisions through data and insights.
