Group Company: Visteon Designation: Analyst II Six Sigma Office Location: Position description: Join Visteon's Six Sigma and Warranty Management team as a mid-level process improvement analyst dedicated to enhancing product quality and operational efficiency within the automotive industry. This role focuses on applying advanced Six Sigma methodologies to analyze warranty data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions that reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Visteon's commitment to innovation and excellence in automotive systems. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and support Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing warranty costs and improving product reliability across automotive components. Analyze complex warranty and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvements using statistical tools. Develop and maintain detailed process maps, control plans, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to mitigate risks in manufacturing and design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to implement corrective and preventive actions. Facilitate DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology workshops and training sessions to build Six Sigma capabilities within the organization. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warranty claims, defect rates, and process improvements to senior management. Utilize advanced statistical software and data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively. Support supplier quality improvement initiatives by analyzing supplier-related warranty data and driving corrective actions. Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and Visteon’s quality management system requirements throughout all improvement projects. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher with demonstrated experience in automotive quality and warranty data analysis. Proven track record of leading Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing or automotive environment. Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab, JMP, or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
